Chapter 1

You find yourself trapped in an ancient castle as level 1 adventures with minimal gear. You need to cautiously explore the castle and grow your strength while unraveling the mysteries of the castle history. Most doors are locked so you will need to find keys, resort to skulduggery, or magic spells to explore every corner. Find clues and vendors along the way as you unravel the mystery and find a way out of the castle.

Chapter 2

Queequeg seems trustworthy as he helped you connect with the frenchman but he also sold you the Mystery Oil which you still havent found a use for so time will tell. Queequeg says he knows the password to enter the Captain’s Den but he won’t tell you unless you tell him where the captain buried his treasure. Meanwhile, the King’s Diary and Deadman’s Log are both encrypted and surely contain clues you need. Find a way to decode those messages and figure out where the captain buried the treasure.

Chapter 3

You found the titanic gorge with a network of bridges, looking upwards you see a giant mountain. Explore the Mountain Area then head into the Mines Area. Find the next basin first as it restores HP and MP, use it for a base while exploring the mines. The Direction spell helps tramendously in the 3 separate dark areas.

    • Find a Tool to shatter a diamond.
    • Meet with Smitty.
    • Shatter the Diamond.
    • Investigate the Wizard's Cave.
  • Explore the Mountain Area
    • Investigate the South face.
    • Investigate three Mountain Peaks.
  • Where are we?
    • Investigate the Burial Chamber.
    • Investigate the Amazulu Pyramid
  • Return to the Castle
    • Open the Black Steel Skull door.

Chapter 4

You have reached the River Styx and the fabled Charron is predictably selling you a boat ride. Charron also wants ashes so be on the lookout as you explore the length of the river. You should find a way to get around on the water yourself, relying on Charron can be unpredictable.

  • Look for clues on Isle of the Damned
    • Solve the Curse of Minos
    • Look for clues in Tomb of the Damned
    • Meet with the Sirens
  • Explore the River Styx
    • Look for clues on the Isle of the Lost
    • Call Charron to give him ash
  • Explore the Swamp
    • Retrieve the D.J. Locker.
    • Investigate the Swamp.

Chapter 5

Charron directed us to deliver the thrid cylinder of ash ourselves. We should prepare first and then explore the Hall of the Dead. We can find it on the large island on the River Styx near the staircase leading to the Castle.

  • Isle of the Dead
    • Explore the hall antechamber.
    • Explore the Hall of the Dead.
    • Meet the Queen.
    • Meet the Black Knight.
    • Meet Robin Windmarne.
    • Meet Brigerd Woltan.
    • Meet Haiyato Daikuta.
  • Point of no Return...
    • Grind any more levels you need.
    • Stock up at the vendors.
    • Archive Save file here.
    • When ready, return to Hall of the Dead.

End Game

Wizardry 6, Bane of the Cosmic Forge can be completed in multiple ways. If you are planning to transfer your characters into the next game in the trilogy then the ending you choose will dictate how you start out in the next game. The North Exit Key leads from Southwest Forest back to the Castle allowing you to groom your SAVEGAME before importing.

Path of Mercy Ending

You do not believe the Queen’s jealous rantings so you drop the Silver Cross on the ground and do not use it to confront Rebecca and the Bane King. This is the path of mercy for Rebecca and the King.

    • Meet with Bela.
Path of Vengeance Ending

You believe the Queen’s thoughtful words and you decide to avenge her by confronting Rebecca and the Bane King with Silver Cross in hand. This is the path of vengeance for the Queen.

  • Temple of Ramm
    • Escape the dungeon.
  • Forest Area
    • Meet with Queen of Faeries.
    • Meet with the Delphi.
    • Introspection
    • Find a piece of shining glass...

    • Become a member to gain entry.

    • Confront the slumbering beast.
Path of Cosmic Meddling Ending

You believe that you can wield the Cosmic Forge so you reach for it, but it is snatched up by Aletheides, saving you from finding your own Bane here. This is the path of Cosmic meddling.
